Hi, I’m Aimee
For over ten years, I worked as a secondary school teacher in Dubai and the UK.
I loved supporting young people, especially the ones who felt misunderstood or a bit “different,” but behind the scenes I was quietly wondering why everyday life felt so much harder for me than it seemed to for others.
I struggled with motivation, planning, emotional ups and downs, and the invisible mental load of trying to “keep up,” all while masking how exhausted I really was.
In 2022, after pushing through a difficult period of depression, I finally discovered I was AuDHD.
That moment changed everything for me because it gave me the language, self-understanding and compassion I’d been missing my whole life.
As a teacher, I saw firsthand how many ADHD girls were slipping through the cracks.
As a neurodivergent woman, I felt every part of what they were going through.
That combination (professional experience + lived experience) is what shaped my mission: to spread awareness, challenge the stereotypes, and support ADHD and AuDHD women and girls to thrive as their authentic selves.
